Assay of Sodium Picosulfate in Preparations

Abstract
|
|
|
The determination method of sodium picosulfate in pharmacentical preparation, especially aqeous solution, by colorimetry using the ko‥nig reaction and 1-phenyl-3-methyl-5-pyrazolone as caupling reagent was studied.
The results are as fellows;
1) The absorption maximum of this method is 550nm,
2) The range of concentration of sodium picosulfate is 30-70mcg/ml
3) This method is not affected by additives and the standard deviation of recovery data is 0.9%.
